This year’s SuperValu TidyTowns awards for the Midlands and East region were presented today, Tuesday 5th December, at a prize-giving ceremony in the Community Centre, Skerries, Co Dublin. The Minister for Rural and Community Development, Michael Ring TD, has announced a €1.4 million grant scheme to mark 60th anniversary of the SuperValu TidyTowns competition next year. Minister Ring made the announcement at the SuperValu TidyTowns award ceremony for the North West and West region in Westport, Co Mayo today.
